Meshtastic does the Maldives

So this update may be a little rough as I’m currently working from my phone!

Jusr to say that both nodes from RAKwireless with the 3dchicken.co.uk and Alley Cat cases didn’t get out far enough using conventional RF. Three days of trying everything to no avail.

It was worth a shot mind and testing Meshtastic from one side of the island to another with no congestion was amazing! Something I’ve never experienced so well in the UK.

Just for fun I’ve connected XMRM ( previously XMRR ) to Mqtt. To say my node list is blowing up would be an understatement! Very soon I will hit the 1000 node mark! Surprisingly the RAK has not thrown a wobble yet.

In other news back home the super node is still chugging away with the Delta max at 47%! Wonder if it’ll be still alive when I get back on the 30th? Doubt it!

Excited to get the solar summer house started on my return too! Alan from the tech team is building a pi with some magical software that I can run on a screen to show node info off amongst other things, I can see me spending more time in the shed…

Oh while I remember, the test flight updates for iOS are crazy, for those who think the dev team don’t work hard enough my test flight updates are pretty much every night?! That’s dedication right there.

Im off back to the pool, to say it’s hot here would be an understatement!
