RAKWireless pushes boundaries for Meshtastic
So heres us at a catch up meeting with RAKwireless yesterday - not nandos and chill.
When dealing with coperate business that scale to the size of RAK its important to take the offer for lunch - even if it is our turn to pay.
Ken and Gavin from RAK are super keen to find out whats going on in the meshtastic community and with all the feedback we get from you guys about whats going on in meshtastic land how can you say no?
Its safe to say some exciting things are in the pipeline thats going to make a real positive change to the meshtastic world, everyone loves RAK being the Mercedes Benz of the lora world but of course you cannot rest and its important to keep innovating, and these guys are doing entirely that... watch this space.
Its safe to say that fancy all in one units and colour screens are something RAK will end up doing, but to the RAK standard of quality and nothing thats substandard if every going to leave the research and development department. Or anything where the Bluetooth range is five centimeters...
Sorry but i cannot go into details about the upcoming new projects, but yes im excited... too excited.
Anyway its always important for people to see all of us in the flesh, so here you go.

On to Map the Mesh
No my patience is wearing realy thin with the rubbish wifi in the Pi5.. Alans go all the stunning software running in kiosk mode for my big screen in the summer house but the wifi just doesnt make it.. i have tried EVERYTHING to make it reach ( yes messing around in the shed at midnight pointing it at the atenna and the whole thing ) Thank Pi hut that a more powerfull wifi dongle lands with me here tommorow! On another note the solar panels and ecoflow battery are still alive in there running the supernode and the Pi! I will do another video hopefully this weekend when im up and running properly... Need to but another Pi for work now !
Map the mesh is going to be a game changer for the "real" radio people amongst you... oh and RAKwireless were super impressed with the demo.. Don't sell it Alan, were not finished here yet!
Orders wise its nearly that time again to make a big order! If you have something on your wish list from RAK that we dont already do you need to send me a message pretty soon.

V2.5 is really doing it for the local network here, bugs and all!
