This guy better be here for Christmas?!

So its been a while, sorry about that..

 

The latest order will be here in time for Christmas, all the kit everyone emailed about has been out of stock at HQ! Its all landing with them this week so the order will be in and its a big one.. so if you made a request we should have everything everyone wanted... including all those Wizmesh orders. Sorry but yet again we will only take pre orders when we have a tracking number yet again...we want to keep it fair to everyone.

 

For those who keep emailing me about the RAK test node, yes its still on test with Map the Mesh and it still works as it should, im going to say 2025 Q1 is going to be pretty exciting not just from a hardware point of view but also from a software one... i can say no more.

 

As far as the Blackpool network is concerned its been pretty hideous, for some reason we couldn't even see next door, the noise levels have been bad, really bad. Only way we could get out was to add some "juice" into the mix. It does seem to be getting better every  day now mind and we are super passionate about LoRa comms and always will be - we have also been testing some other variants of meshtastic with our hardware and it does work very well, in fact these are people who share our passion and want a working off grid communications system that's works, reliably .

 

Interestingly i am off to Chicago with the day job next week and yes ill be taking a couple of nodes, be interesting to see how meshtastic works over in the USA.

Oh and PS if you have been emailing us apologies, i couldn't get into our account, best thing to do as always is message through Discord for a prompt reply.

On another note, i want to run some sort of range test competition in 2025, best range community drive network and all that, we will set the standard and you guys have to beat it... or something like that. Whats people thoughts on this?

 

Oh and shout out to the individual who was flying a drone over the airport sending meshtastic messages, don't be a pleb.  As you can imagine we were the first port of call for the authorities, sorry to say i was in London that week so we are in the clear, your really not helping meshtastic or us in being so stupid...Pleb, again.
